GEO-CRADLE has launched an extensive ongoing stakeholder consultation activity that helps to create a comprehensive picture of the available EO capacities, identify gaps and capture the level at which user needs are met by existing EO services in the Balkans, North Africa and Middle East.

The GEO-CRADLE Project Survey with its on-line questionnaire registers and effectively integrates the existing EO capacities of organisations in the region in terms of: space/air-borne/in-situ monitoring networks and infrastructure, as well as modelling and data exploitation skills.

Based on the survey results the project:

  • supports the establishment of integrated EO services that meet regional priorities;
  • contributes to the implementation of GEOSS and Copernicus in the region.
